In this self-paced course UNWTO Gender equality in tourism training, the learners will learn to identify the importance of gender equality and women’s empowerment for tourism, to develop an understanding of the impacts of gender inequalities on tourism businesses and the public sector in tourism and o appreciate the value of intervention and implementation of gender equality and women’s empowerment strategies. 

It will take you about 1 hour / 60 minutes to complete this course and you will earn a PDF certificate once you complete all 3 modules.

The modules are:

Module 1 - What are the main challenges for women in the tourism sector? 

Module 2 - What is the impact of inequality between women and men on the tourism sector?

Module 3 - What can you do to promote equality between women and men in the tourism sector?
